Spark your imagination by participating in a FREE hands-on learning activity with STEM NOLA, a national leader in STEM-based programs for students, families, and communities. Students in third through fifth grade will be equipped with skills that are in high demand in today's rapidly changing world while exploring the possibilities of STEM-based career paths.
This session is titled "Physics of Sound." Kids will explore the physics of sound about frequency, vibration, and sound waves. Kids will build instruments and explore concepts to create sound.
STEM NOLA will visit each library branch during STEM Week (June 24-27) and Fantasy Week (July 8-12). Registration is required and will be confirmed upon validation of an active library card. Duplicate registrations will be voided. Please monitor your email for messages from rjoseph@stjohnlib.com concerning your status. Parents may register up to two (2) children using their library cards. Library cards are free to all who live, work, or go to school in St. John Parish. Visit any library branch to obtain a library card today!
