“It ain’t no joke” - Christmas Eve bonfires are a centuries-old tradition in the River Parishes. Teepee-style structures have given way to massive bonfires that have captured national attention, thanks in part to the talented Blood, Sweat, and Bonfires group from Garyville. Enjoy a bonfire-inspired craft and learn how the builders combine their architectural and art backgrounds to bring their creations from concept to reality. Participants will also take part in a simple bonfire-inspired craft.
