Pumpkin Grab & Greaux - Last Day to Pick Up Seeds!

Harvesting pumpkins in October begins with planting seeds in June and early July. This program will provide free seeds and informational resources for children and adults to grow pumpkins at home. Choose between seeds from four pumpkin varieties.

Then, in October, bring your harvested pumpkins back to the library to be judged for prizes! Awards will be given for the largest pumpkin, smallest (fully grown) pumpkin, and best records kept. St. John the Baptist Parish Library will also host a pumpkin decorating demonstration and contest in October.
