Join us for a special Storytime, sponsored by the Louisiana Ag Literacy in the Classroom Program and the Louisiana Farm Bureau. Former art teacher, Margaret Budde, will read the book, "Honeybee: The Life of Apis Mellifera" by Candace Fleming. Kids will learn about the importance of honeybees in our daily lives followed by a fun activity.
The Louisiana Ag Literacy Program and the Louisiana Farm Bureau seeks to cultivate agricultural literacy by sharing the story of agriculture with elementary students across the state.
This program is designed for children ages 8 to 11.
