Sensory play with tactile materials is a fun way to help young children practice fine motor skills, foster creativity, and explore the world through their senses. These experiences build nerve connections that help the brain develop through infancy and early childhood. Join licensed occupational therapist Diane Robichaux and Caring Strategies Director Sandra O'Brien for a morning of winter-themed sensory play at the LaPlace Branch using materials like Play-Doh, oobleck, and kinetic sand.
