Celebrated on the first Saturday in February each year, Take Your Child to the Library Day invites families across the world to visit their local library for a day of free, fun, fabulous activities. Join us for the following kid-friendly presentations at the Leroy D. Williams Memorial Library in Reserve.
10 AM: The Dubi Show LIVE! - Enjoy this interactive puppet show with our favorite literacy-loving monster, Dubi. Stay after the show to talk with Dubi and enjoy light refreshments!
11 AM: Local Author Visits - Get ready for a special story time session featuring Matthew Cantrelle, author of "Pierre the Pelican's Wish to Fish," and Britney Piske, author of "The Lovely Star." Both charming children's stories invite readers to dream big, let their light shine, and build self-confidence.
Activity tables will be available to families throughout the day. Visit any St. John the Baptist Parish Library Branch on February 1st to participate in a LEGO building challenge, design your own bookmark, and enjoy STEM-based fun as you make your own foil balloon.
