Event Details

Young Rembrandts is partnering with St. John the Baptist Parish Library to offer weekly drawing classes at all branches, designed to help children ages 6 to 13 explore their creativity and enhance academic skills. Participants will explore a variety of drawing techniques, including cartooning, elementary art skills, and themed workshops, all designed to improve fine motor skills, concentration, and confidence. Space is limited. Registration is preferred, but walk-ins are accepted based on availability. 

Today's Lesson: Comic Book Art

This drawing features a comic book scene inspired by classic, science fiction imagery. We will create a layered composition to differentiate from foreground and background while using colors to create contrast.
