Event Details

Young Rembrandts is partnering with St. John the Baptist Parish Library to offer weekly drawing classes at all branches, designed to help children ages 6 to 13 explore their creativity and enhance academic skills. Participants will explore a variety of drawing techniques, including cartooning, elementary art skills, and themed workshops, all designed to improve fine motor skills, concentration, and confidence. Space is limited. Registration is preferred, but walk-ins are accepted based on availability. 

Today's Lesson: MC Escher

The lesson is inspired by the artwork of M.C. Escher. We would discuss M.C. Escher and his artwork, especially his tessellations. We would use warm/cool colors as well as A/B patterns to bring our tessellations to life.
