Event Details

Young Rembrandts is partnering with St. John the Baptist Parish Library to offer weekly drawing classes at all branches, designed to help children ages 6 to 13 explore their creativity and enhance academic skills. Participants will explore a variety of drawing techniques, including cartooning, elementary art skills, and themed workshops, all designed to improve fine motor skills, concentration, and confidence. Space is limited. Registration is preferred, but walk-ins are accepted based on availability. 

Today's Lesson: Scuba Diver

This lesson shows an underwater scene. We learn basic figure drawing through the creation of our scuba driver. Using the variety of fish and plant life, we are also able to use proportion to stretch our views of fore, middle, and background.
