Celebrate Black History month by making buttons at your local library. All month long, drop in from 3 to 5 p.m. at the LaPlace or Garyville branches to create your own button.

Come color a paper house and laminate it to keep. But the fun part? Kids will make little "lawns" to go in front of them, with real grass to grow at home. They'll make lovely additions to any sunny window for kids to keep.
