Program Description

Event Details

During the second week of December, stop by the Reserve Branch MakerSpace to learn how to operate the HP DesignJet Z6 large-format printer. This machine can produce prints up to 44 inches wide, perfect for posters and banners! We will discuss the dos and don'ts of the equipment and how to operate it. Learn how to load and unload paper print rolls, identify the icons on the touchscreen, determine and files can and cannot be read, and perform basic troubleshooting tasks if an error occurs. We will also discuss the pricing for the different rolls for personal projects (outside of free library-hosted workshops), as well as the type of paper that is best for various uses.

Participants will earn a "badge of completion" permitting them to use the HP DesignJet Z6 for personal projects.
