During the fifth week of July, patrons will learn all about using the Revopoint 3D scanner in the Reserve Library MakerSpace. · The Revopoint 3D Scanner is a device that analyzes a real-world object or environment to collect data on its shape and appearance. It can be used in conjunction with the MakerSpace's 3D printers to replicate designs of existing objects. We will discuss the dos and don'ts of the equipment and how to successfully operate it, including learning what software is compatible with the scanner and applications that can be downloaded for mobile use.
